The MOM Project

Welcome to The MOM Project.  We are a not for profit organization that provides support to families who have lost a baby during pregnancy or infancy.

Our support group is held at 6:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Carbondale Civic Center in Carbondale, Illinois.  Our meetings are casual and usually last about an hour and a half.

Some other programs we offer include the following:

• Commemorative Birth Certificates are issued to parents of stillborn babies who did not receive one by their state.
• Recognition of Life Certificates are issued to parents of babies who were miscarried.
• Bereaved Mothers Bracelets are offered free of charge, in the birthstone or color of their choice as a remembrance of their baby.

Our organization relies heavily on donations from the general public to continue operation.  We are currently in the process of applying to become a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organization.
