MOM Project Donation FAQ:
What kind of donations can the Memories of Mariam Project use?
The most helpful of these are
monetary donations, which help with the cost of postal services, purchasing
items for bereaved families, and internet presence.
We would be happy to accept any of the following:
* Single Use Cameras
* Teddy Bears
* Preemie and Doll Clothing
* Baby Quilts & Blankets
* Memory Boxes
* Scrapbooking Materials
* Handprint/Footprint Molds
* Monetary Donations
Where do these donations go?
These donations go to bereaved families, worldwide. The majority of our
inventory is donated to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale,
Illinois. We can also send teddy bears, certificates, and other items all across
the world.
Are donations tax deductible?
We are
currently in the process of applying for status as a
501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization. Once
this is completed, donations will be tax deductible. To the best of
our knowledge, donations made at this time will be tax deductible after we
receive approval.
